Grafton Motorcycles are a leading Honda motorcycle dealership across the Bucks area have been trading for over 45 years starting out at a small garage in Wolverton and have over the years expanded their dealership, now in South Milton Keynes. Grafton’s offer new and used bike sales, servicing with a convenient onsite workshop and a training school, operating across various sites locally.
Since the pandemic, there has been a boom in interest in 2 wheel, down to various factors- some have discovered a new found freedom to work from home, no longer required to do the stressful daily commute, even doing away with a household car and swapping four wheels for two. To those realising after a tough few months that life is too short and it’s about time they had what they always wanted, a thrilling new hobby, enjoying the road behind handlebars!
Grafton’s have taken this in their stride, sharing their knowledge of new and used bikes, booking customers into their onsite workshop to get their rides road ready for the winter seasons and starting peoples motorbike journeys from scratch at their multi-site, ever popular training schools.
With Helen, our service and parts manager going on maternity leave late last year, Grafton’s welcomed Jake, an avid lover of Motorbikes, who’s been riding for over 15 years and adores his NC750X DCT. We look forward to Jake becoming part of the family and sharing his knowledge of all things two wheel with customers, here he is sporting the brand new NT1100!
Before embarking on the exciting journey to motherhood, service and parts manager Helen said: “If you haven’t ridden before, there’s just nothing quite like it and (before you suggest it) it’s far from like riding a mountain bike really fast downhill.
It’ll change so much for you. Suddenly communing to work will become a pleasure. You’ll walk in with a smile on your face after having skipped the queues of traffic. You’ll be admired by your colleagues/staff as you pop your helmet down at your desk. “What are you doing this weekend” you’ll be asked- no doubt heading to the Dorset coast or enjoying the Cornish winding roads, or through the lakes and peaks on route to Scotland. Suddenly, it’s all possible and nowhere is too far.
You’ll be catching up with old friends on your travels and making new friends wherever you stop to fuel up -on both petrol and bacon sarnies.
You’ll enjoy the solitude out on your bike, but become part of a wider family as your social calendar fills up with ride outs, café meets, tours and get togethers.
