OMC WELCOMES NEW COMMITTEE MEMBER GILES OLLEY

Published:09/05/2025

OMC welcomes onto the committee Giles Olley who has a wealth of experience in UK motorcycle racing both track and road as well as IT. Giles was co-opted on at the last committee meeting as there has been a vacancy for many months so finally the committee is back to full strength.

Giles short biography reads as follows

"I've been riding motorcycles since I was 9 and had my first road bike at 16. Later on I started doing track days and then club racing. I also spent 12 years as a Racing and Track Day coach. I wanted to give something back to the sport, so in 2014 when I stopped racing I trained to become a Clerk of the Course. Now I'm very privileged to be a member of British Superbikes Race Direction and Clerk of the Course for the Southern 100 on the Isle of Man and for No Limits Racing and the British Motorcycle Racing Club. I'm also a member of the ACU Road Race Commission, which governs motorcycle racing in the UK. I spend what spare time I have working full time as Head of Infrastructure & Security for an internet company!"
