Dear Oakley Motorcycle Club,

I hope you and your families are well.

I just wanted to get in touch with some exciting news, to let you know that you have been selected as one of three nominees to be shortlisted for an EAAA Inspiration Award! Congratulations!!

The inspiration awards have been running for several years now, with the aim of recognising those who inspire and motivate us to do what we do whilst sharing some joy amongst our amazing community. Nominations are made internally by EAAA staff and I’m pleased to say, that this time you were nominated by Daisy Rivetti in light of all the work you have done to support us.

We wanted to get in touch to let you know about this fantastic news, but also to let you know what the next stages of the awards process will be.

Now our internal panel have done the difficult task of whittling the fantastic nominations down to three, we thought it would be a nice opportunity (with your permission) to offer the final vote out to our wonderful community to decide. Plus it was hard enough for us to make the decisions we have so far, because you’re all fantastic in our eyes!

You have been nominated for an award in the most Inspirational ‘Team, group or club’ category.  For this category, the final winner will be decided by a public vote on our social channels, where we would invite our supporters to vote for the nominee that they felt, in their opinion, deserved to win. To help our supporters choose their winner, the reason that your nominator provided when putting your name forward will be included. You can of course request a copy of this should you wish to read it prior to making your decision.

We are really excited to publicly recognise your support of East Anglian Air Ambulance to inspire others, but please do let me know if you feel this is something you would rather not take part in.

Once the nominations have been announced, you do not have to do anything, except perhaps encourage your colleagues, friends and families to vote for you.  If you are crowned the winner, we would be delighted to present you with a certificate of recognition, and we may ask for a short statement and photo.

We are hoping to launch the online voting on or around Monday 4th May.  If you could let me know that you have received this email, and that you are happy to take part in the public vote before then, it would much appreciated.

Please don’t hesitate to give me a call or email should you have any questions.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
