After a couple of days of rain, drizzle, torrential rain and even more bloody rain, it cleared up nicely on Thursday 10thAugust just in time for the OMC Theme night final. On the night, all 8 previous heat winners were there with their bikes together with OMC sponsors Grafton Honda, Yamaha Flitwick Motorcycles and Pure Triumph plus OMC racing members John Hannaford Racing, BSB Ducati Tri-options Championship rider Jon Railton and BSB HEL Performance Motostar Championship team Sym Cirrus Motorsport riders Sam Llewellyn and Edmund Best. Add on top of this 300 motorbikes and several hundred people and a great night was there for the taking.

Also present was our special guest, Ex 500 World Championship racer with Heron Suzuki, 1978, 1979 and 1980 500 Champion in ACU Gold Star and Shell Championships, BSB winner, 7 times British and European Truck racing Champion, TV pundit and Commentator, Mr Steve Parrish who was kind enough to present the nights winners Julia and Shane Hill owners of a mint 1975 Suzuki GT750, the OMC Bike of the Year Shield.

A massive thanks to Steve who waived any fee for a donation to a favourite charity, which was the OMC charity of the year, the East Anglian Air Ambulance who received £300 donated by OMC and Oakley Sports & Social Club
