Supported Charities

Oakley Motorcycle Club has, since it's inception in 2005, strongly supported many charities over the years.  The primary club charities are Keech Cottage (a hospice for both adults and children) and the East Anglian Air Ambulance (a 365 day-a-year life saving service across Beds, Cambs, Peterborough, Norfolf and Suffolk).

However we also support charities championed by members of our club.  These currently include:

Brains Trust

OMC Champion: Paul East

Brainstrust is a UK based brain cancer charity, dedicated to improving clinical care for brain tumour sufferers and providing co-ordinated support in their search for treatment.  They provide support and advice at the point of diagnosis and beyond, by updating treatment, improving care and, ultimately, saving lives.

Please visit their website at http://brainstrust.org.uk or email Paul East for more information.

Happy Days

OMC Champion:  Bernice Russell

Happy Days fund and organise holidays, residential trips, days out and theatre trips throughout the UK for disadvantaged young people with special needs. They help young people in special needs schools, in hospitals and in hospices and we help individual families.

Since they were established in 1992, they have brought a little happiness into the lives of more than 90,000 young people, but there are many more waiting for their help.

Please visit their website at http://www.happydayscharity.org or email Bernice Russell for more information.
